Bremen, Germany - Jim & Elsa Springer
Jim & Elsa moved to Bremen in 1974 to work with a congregation started by Bill McDonough in 1968. Bremen is a city-state of 675,000 people, and an important seaport in northern Germany. In their 30-plus years of missionary work, Jim & Elsa have not only grown the Bremen congregation, but had a far-reaching positive impact on the spread of New Testament Christianity across Europe. Most Germans are agnostic or atheistic, and are slow to make friends. Jim & Elsa started an English language class using the Bible as their text, with help from American Christian college students. This method has resulted in steady growth for the last fifteen years. They also conduct the ETM Leadership Course (Evangelism, Training and Media) through meetings and seminars in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, helping to strengthen congregations in all of these areas. Jim is the son of our winter members Marvin and Rena Springer. |

Kingston, Jamaica - Cliff & Dolly Martin
Our congregation has supported this work in Jamaica since the early 80’s, purchasing first a large meeting tent and chairs, and later a property which houses the Lincoln Crescent congregation. We also sponsored a full-time evangelist to help Cliff for two years, and have helped fund numerous mission trips by members and Florida School of Preaching students. Cliff and Dolly have worked tirelessly to spread the Gospel all around the island, and have also worked through the years to support orphan children and teach them about God and his love. Our support continues to this remarkable team and the Lord’s church at Lincoln Crescent. |

Christian Courier - Wayne Jackson, Stockton, California
Central enjoys a special relationship with Wayne Jackson and the Christian Courier website. For many years, Wayne has been a regular speaker in our gospel meetings. We (and many others) consider him one of the best thinkers, writers and speakers in our brotherhood today. His excellent monthly publication, The Christian Courier has always been provided free to our members. As their web-based resource grew, we decided to support it on a monthly basis. Their success in spreading the truth of God’s teachings through this medium has been truly astounding. Hundreds of thousands of page downloads and “hits” prove that this work is having worldwide impact. Please explore their site from our “Links” page and see what we mean! |

International Gospel Hour - Winford Claiborne
This fine radio program is overseen by the West Fayetteville, Tennessee Church, and features the inimitable Winford Claiborne. It is broadcast locally on WTIS, 1110 AM, each Sunday morning at 7:30 am. Biblically sound, academically astute, and thoroughly engaging, Winford is indeed a master expositor of God’s Word. |
